Delete Your Account & Data
We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your puzzMe account and all associated data at any time.
What Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove:
- Account information: Your name, email address, and authentication data
- Puzzles you created: All puzzle data, including uploaded images and puzzle configurations
- Solve attempts: Your puzzle completion history and statistics
- Replies and messages: Any reactions or messages sent through the App
- Ad consent preferences: Your advertising consent settings
How to Request Deletion
Option 1: In-App Deletion
Open the puzzMe app → Go to your Profile → Tap "Delete Account" → Confirm the deletion. Your account and data will be removed immediately.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to privacy@puzzme.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your puzzMe account
- Your display name in the app (if applicable)
We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
- Puzzles you shared with others will also be deleted and will no longer be accessible to recipients.
- If you signed in with Apple, Google, or Facebook, deleting your puzzMe account does not affect those accounts.
- Some anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., total puzzle count statistics) may be retained as it cannot be linked back to you.
Processing Time
In-app deletion requests are processed immediately. Email deletion requests will be completed within 30 days of receiving your request. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
